Members Night

Many thanks to Vanessa Shingles and John Robinson for their time and effort put in to showing the membership some images for the evening.

Vanessa showed some 35mm slides taken by her father while they lived in Northern Pakistan , the projector had some problems with the paper/card mounts but the images were very sharp.

John Robinson put together a digital AV entitled “One year in Margate” by John Robinson, John had taken shots from a local newspaper from around 1905, and zoomed in on various advertisements of the period, a very interesting list of shots.

John Couzins downloaded the iotps website to show members without internet access the sort of things that were shown on the website from the Programme of events through to the hints and tips pages, anyone who wants their own images that have been uploaded to various sites can have a link put on the galleries page for others to find them.
